Dating from the 1930s and handmade in Japan for export, this is a rare and beautifully preserved matching top and pants set.
Crafted from fine thin silk, the fabric has been hand-painted and resist-dyed to create elegant floral motifs in soft yet vibrant tones, with detailed borders. It’s especially rare to find both the top and pants together as a complete set.
The pants do not have an elastic waistband, allowing them to be tailored to your preferred fit. The top features a relaxed, open silhouette.
