Dating from the 1930s and handmade in Japan for export, this is a rare and beautifully preserved matching kimono jacket and pants set. Crafted from fine thin silk, the fabric has been hand-painted and resist-dyed to create elegant floral motifs in soft yet vibrant tones, with detailed borders. It’s especially rare to find both the jacket and pants together as a complete set. The pants are unstructured and has an elastic band at the back of the waist, allowing them to fit a range of sizes.
